Base plates, foundation plates, gusset plates, stiffener plates and circular plates come in A36, mill certified. Order them with the anchor bolts, nuts and washers that go through them, on one quote.
For floors, walkways and covers we carry checkered plate, steel grating, expanded metal, perforated sheet and plain steel sheet. Copper plate and busbars are on the same list for electrical work, and purlin connectors for roof framing.
Finish them bare, hot-dip galvanized, electro-galvanized or powder coated.

Base plate and anchor bolt set
Order the base plates with their anchor bolts, nuts and washers as one set. Send the plate size, thickness and holes, and the bolt diameter, length, bend and grade.

Can you cut and drill base plates to my drawing?
Yes. Send the drawing or a sketch with the plate size, thickness, hole size and hole positions. We cut, drill or punch the plates and quote them with the rest of your list.
What grade is your mild steel plate?
Our plates are A36, mill certified. If your plans call for a different grade, send it with the order and we quote that grade.
Can you galvanize the plates?
Yes. Plates can be hot-dip galvanized, electro-galvanized or powder coated. Say which finish you need when you send the list.
Do you supply the anchor bolts for the base plates?
Yes. Add the anchor bolts, nuts and washers to the same RFQ and we quote the plates and bolts together.
