Send an RFQ that gets a fast quote.

Every missing detail is one more message before you get a price. Here is what to put in, with examples, and how to build the list on this site.

Short answer. For every line, say what the item is, the grade, the size, how many, the finish and any work on it (cutting, drilling, bending, galvanizing). Add one drawing or photo, the delivery city and your target date. A list like that can be priced without a round of questions.

Why some quotes take longer

A request for quotation (RFQ) is priced line by line. "Base plate, 20 pcs" cannot be priced yet: the thickness, plate size, number and size of holes, grade and finish are all open, and each one changes the price. Every open point becomes a message, and every message is a delay on your side and ours.

The fix is simple: answer the questions before anyone asks them.

The checklist: what every line needs

DetailWhy it mattersHow to write it
ItemNames the product family"Base plate", "L-type anchor bolt", "GI pipe"
Standard or gradeSets the steel and its priceA36, F1554 Gr. 36, A53 Gr. B, as on the plans
SizeSets the weight and the cuttingUnits on every number; see the size order below
Quantity and unitPieces, lengths, rolls or sets are priced differently"48 pcs", "10 lengths", "6 rolls", "24 sets (bolt, 2 nuts, washer)"
FinishPlain, painted and galvanized steel cost differentlyPlain, primer, painted, hot-dip or electro-galvanized
Work on itEach operation adds shop timeCut to length, drilled, bent, welded, threaded
Drawing or photoRemoves guesswork on holes and shapesOne sheet per part, or numbered parts on one sheet
Delivery cityFreight is quoted per site with your steelCity and barangay; note narrow roads or truck limits
Target dateLets us plan cutting and the delivery runThe date the steel must be on site
DocumentsSome projects need paperwork with the steelSay if you need mill certificates or other documents

Write sizes in the order the trade reads them

  • Plate: thickness × width × length, for example 12 mm × 300 mm × 300 mm.
  • Bolts and rods: diameter × length, plus thread length and hook or leg length for anchor bolts.
  • Pipe: nominal size plus schedule or class, then length.
  • Sections (channel, angle, beam): the section size, then the cut length.

Say whether you mean millimetres or inches, every time. "3/4 x 24" and "20 x 600" are both common on Philippine sites, and mixing them on one list is a classic source of wrong quotes.

Vague vs ready to price

The lines on the right are examples of the format, not a list of what we stock.

VagueReady to price
Base plate, 20 pcsBase plate, A36, 12 mm × 300 × 300 mm, 4 holes 22 mm dia. at 200 mm centres, hot-dip galvanized, 20 pcs, drawing BP-1
Anchor boltsAnchor bolt, F1554 Gr. 36, L-type, 3/4 in × 24 in, 4 in leg, 6 in thread, 2 nuts + 1 washer each, plain, 80 pcs
MS plateMild steel plate, A36, 10 mm, cut to 450 × 600 mm, 6 pcs, primer
Channel, 10 pcsChannel bar, A36, size per drawing S-3, cut to 2,400 mm, 10 pcs
GI pipe 2 inchGI pipe, 2 in Schedule 40, threaded both ends, 10 lengths
Cyclone wire for the fenceCyclone wire, gauge, opening and height as per the fence plan, enough for 120 m of fence, GI

Not sure which grade to write? The guides on anchor bolt grades, GI vs BI pipe and galvanizing finishes cover the usual questions. The grade on your plans always wins.

Drawings and photos that help

  • A clear photo of a hand sketch is fine. Mark every dimension, in one unit.
  • For drilled parts, give the hole diameter and the centre-to-centre spacing, measured from one edge.
  • Replacing an old part? Photograph it next to a tape measure, from the front and the side.
  • Number the parts (BP-1, BP-2) and use the same numbers on the list.
  • On the RFQ page you can attach a PDF, DWG, JPG or PNG file of up to 20 MB.

How to build your RFQ on this site

  1. Find the item. Open it from the product catalog, choose the options, then type the size and quantity.
  2. Tap Add to RFQ. Repeat for every item on the job, supply and fabrication together.
  3. Open Your RFQ on the quote page to review the list. Something not in the catalog? Type it in the search box and press Enter to add it as your own item.
  4. Attach a drawing or photo, then fill in your name, mobile number, delivery city, target date and how you want the reply: Viber, call or email.
  5. Send it. Send the request from the page, or open it in Viber or email with the list already typed out; on Viber or email, attach the drawing there.

Before you hit send

  • Every line has an item, grade, size with units, quantity and finish
  • Any cutting, drilling, bending or galvanizing is written on the line
  • The drawing is attached, and its part numbers match the list
  • Delivery city (with the barangay) and target date are on the request
  • The reply channel is one you check: Viber, call or email

Questions

Call or text 0962-297-2747

Ask on Viber

Do I need a drawing to get a quote?

Not for standard items: a grade, size, quantity and finish are enough. For anything cut, drilled, bent or welded, a drawing or a clear photo of a sketch with dimensions saves a round of questions.

Can I send a photo of a handwritten list?

Yes. Make sure every line has the size with units and the quantity, and that the photo is sharp. Send it on Viber to 0962-297-2747 or attach it on the quote page.

Can supply and fabrication go in one RFQ?

Yes. Put the plain steel and the fabricated parts on the same list, and we reply with one quote for the whole job.

What if I do not know the grade?

Write what the part is for and where it goes, and check the structural plans: the grade is usually in the general notes. The grade on your plans always wins.

Do you deliver outside Metro Manila?

Yes. We ship nationwide, and freight is quoted per site with your steel. Put the delivery city and barangay on the RFQ.
